How do I get Notifications via Text?Printable

To get Notifications from TimeSlots.SFYS via text

  1. Set an email address to be your phone

    At Services:Profile-Messaging establish an email address in the format of {Phone-Number}@{carrier specific domain}

  2. Choose which Notifications will go to your phone

    At Services:Profile-Messaging select which Notifications will be sent to the phone

  3. Click Update

Example

For instance, an Email sent to 6505559007@vtext.com will go to the Verizon subscriber carrying a phone with the number (650) 555-9007 See http://www.verizonwireless.com/news/article/2013/06/computer-to-phone-text-messaging.html-> for a bit more about Verizon specifically. The other carriers (AT&T, etc.) have a similar "syntax".
