How to Establish SelfSchedule Rules

Understanding how SelfSchedule rules work will aid in maintenance of SelfSchedule rules. See SelfSchedule Rules for a description of the SelfSchedule rules currently in use.

Rule / Pattern
Rule and Pattern are used interchangeably. When the software is looking to see if specific Match is impacted by a rule, the software steps down from the first Pattern through to the last Pattern and selects the Pattern that first corresponds to the match being tested.

SelfSchedule Rules for different Subsets of Matches

There can be specific SelfSchedule Rules for subsets of the Matches table defined by: + Users, + Clubs, + Gender, + Agelevels, + PlayingLeague, + Class, + Brackets, + Season. The SelfSchedule Rule must be entered into the table of SelfSchedule Rules. You can see the current table of SelfSchedule rules at Staff:Options-Patterns. (Some of the columns in this display are minimized to save space on your screen. Hover over a column with your mouse to see the contents. Click on the show triangle to see all the contents of a column. ) Each SelfSchedule Rule has an input variable(s). The current input can be seen as the 'Data' value at Staff:Options-Patterns. These values appear as the 'Limit' when SelfSchedule rules are applied to a Match.

Subsets of Matches
