How to Coordintate GotSoccer / TimeSlots.SFYS / Pensra

Routine Checking by Clubs

Clubs may want to check if the Referee database matches the TimeSlots.SFYS database. Logon to timeslots.sfyouthsoccer.com once a week - say on Tuesday.

GotSoccer-Load

These pages look for matches at GotSoccer that should be in the timeslots.sfyouthsoccer.com database and are either not in the TimeSlots.SFYS database or different in the TimeSlots.SFYS database. . Go to ClubOfficer:GotSoccer-Load . Enter the next two weeks into the date range. Select your Club. Select an Event. Set the Display pulldown to Add+Update+Warning. Click Show. Deal with any matches that appear with an icon in the Action column. Repeat for other Events.

GotSoccer-Check

This looks for matches that are in TimeSlots.SFYS and should be in GotSoccer. Finds those matches that are no longer in GotSoccer. Go to ClubOfficer:GotSoccer-Check. Select the next two weeks into the date range. (You can enter today and +2 weeks.) Select the Event. Click Show. Deal with any matches that have the Warning icon in the Action column. Key points:

GotSoccer does not cancel matches, they delete them. So a match might be moved from GotSoccer to TimeSlots.SFYS and then disappear from GotSoccer
Data transfer is only from GotSoccer to TimeSlots.SFYS upon request. We cannot write to GotSoccer and GotSoccer does not tell us when a match has been changed.
